The Art of Distraction
“...bad publicity is sometimes better than no publicity at all. Controversy, in short, sells.” ~ Donald J. Trump, Trump: The Art of the Deal
The Speaker of the House Drama
How much did you know about the role of the Speaker of the House prior to President Trump? My knowledge ended with their place in the line of succession. Other than that, I never paid too much attention to it. Nancy Pelosi’s nasty display of anti-patriotism tearing up President Trump’s speech at the 2020 State of the Union Address probably brought some awareness to a lot of people, myself included.
If you’re still watching the mainstream media or believing what you see on social media then you’re probably aware of the impending drama around the Speaker of the House. We’re being manipulated into hating Speaker Mike Johnson. If I was the confrontational type, I would make a comment on any number of anti-Johnson posts on X or Truth Social and start a full-on social media war. If you post something positive about him, half the comments will contain people telling you you’re an idiot for supporting him. He’s been referred to as a traitor, a RINO, incompetent, and countless other things. He’s being criticized for dragging out the threat of a government shutdown, as well as his management of the GOP. The Hill reported that anonymous sources are telling President Trump to dump Speaker Johnson. If anonymous sources are saying it, then we should definitely expect President Trump to lose support for him any day.
The Speaker of the House election will take place on January 3rd. Some Republicans have voiced concern that failing to elect the Speaker on that day will prevent them from being sworn in, meaning they can’t certify the 2024 election. Representative Thomas Massie has already said that he will vote against Mike Johnson for Speaker. Since Massie withheld his support for President Trump until 11 days before the election, I’m not surprised.
Democrats have naturally said that they won’t support Mike Johnson to remain as Speaker. According to Hakeem Jeffries, there is a real risk that Johnson won’t win reelection on January 3rd. Since he can’t rely on Democrat support, Mike Johnson has to rely on the majority of Republican votes to remain as Speaker. Since Republicans have a slim majority in the House, there is legitimate concern that Johnson won’t get the votes he needs.
Steve Bannon says that Speaker Johnson has to go if President Trump’s agenda is going to succeed. He’s urging the GOP to oust Speaker Johnson. "Johnson Must Go or Trump Agenda Will Never Pass," he posted on Gettr. "Johnson has got to go. We don't need partisanship now. We need hyper-partisanship now. The conversation is over," Bannon said on the Megyn Kelly Show. At a Turning Point event, when Bannon asked if Johnson should be Speaker, the crowd booed.
Steve Bannon has a goal and I don’t fault him for it. The more we are pushed to dislike Speaker Johnson, the more confident the Democrats become that the Speaker vote on January 3rd, and the election certification on January 6th will be chaotic. They still haven’t learned that chaos does not usually end well for them.
Delays in electing a new Speaker of the House, although rare, are not unheard of. It took two months to elect a new Speaker in 1856. Americans were given a lesson in American civics in 2023 with the election of then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Matt Gaetz started the drama by offering up alternate members and refusing to support McCarthy. There were stern words and a near physical-altercation in the halls of Congress. A photo emerged of Marjorie Taylor Greene holding her phone at just the right angle to show “DT” on the other end. We were told that “DT” was President Trump calling to offer his support and opinion on the proceedings. It’s almost like it was all scripted.
We were given a few months of calm before the Speaker of the House drama began again. In October 2023, Matt Gaetz introduced a motion to vacate to begin the process of removing Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House. His efforts were successful and McCarthy became the first Speaker in history to be voted out of his job.
To those who were paying attention, the Kevin McCarthy Speaker drama gave us a visual lesson into the importance of electing a speaker and their role in government. Had you ever even heard of an election for Speaker of the House prior to this? I thought they just appeared there sitting behind the President at State of the Union addresses. Who knew they were actually voted into that position? Orchestrating a dramatic show is one way to show the people the importance of paying attention to the Speaker of the House election. Creating drama right before such an election is another way.
The speaker election in January 2023 was not a routine election with a guaranteed winner as we were accustomed to. The voting began on January 3rd (just as it will in 2025), and took 15 rounds of voting before the winner was declared on January 7th. Because of the delay, members of the new Congress weren’t sworn in until that day. The Kevin McCarthy election demonstrated that a speaker standoff can delay the swearing in of elected officials. Will we see a repeat of that in 2025?
In order to become Speaker of the House, the candidate must receive a majority vote - not the most votes - from votes cast by members of the House. This doesn’t necessarily mean that an individual receives a majority of the full House because some Members may choose not to vote, and others may vote “present.” There are 435 members of Congress. The House breakdown when the new Congress takes effect will be 220 Republicans and 215 Democrats. Mike Johnson does not have a lot of wiggle room to get to the majority. Since the Democrats always stick together, we can count on them showing up and giving all of their 215 votes to Hakeem Jeffries. If the Republicans let us down - as they have so many times in the past - and every Republican does not show up and vote for Mike Johnson, we may either end up without a speaker elected on January 3rd, or it may be Democrat Hakeem Jeffries.
If a new speaker isn’t elected, the House can’t swear in the new members of Congress, it can’t pass legislation, or form any committees. It’s essentially useless (literally this time). Most importantly, without a Speaker, the House can’t certify the election results, meaning it can’t certify President Trump’s election on January 6th.
If President Trump supports Mike Johnson for Speaker of the House, every Republican should do so too, especially since they hold such a slim majority. We were shown in 2023 that a speaker can be removed in the middle of their term if they aren’t representing our best interests. If President Trump supports Johnson, any Republican who doesn’t is showing us that they are an anti-America First RINO. We need to primary their ass out of our Congress.
So why is Steve Bannon and others voicing their lack of support for Mike Johnson? I don’t know who, if anyone, Steve Bannon would prefer in that position. The Speaker of the House does not have to be a member of Congress. Senator Rand Paul casually threw out Elon Musk as a candidate for Speaker of the House.
Chaos.
The Constitution requires that the President be sworn in at noon on January 20th. What happens if there isn’t a speaker to certify the election by January 20, 2025? The previous President and Vice President’s term ends at noon on January 20th, so Biden and Harris are gone, and the Speaker of the House in the order of succession doesn’t apply if we don’t have one. The next person in line to become the acting President is the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. Who will that be on January 3, 2025? Chuck Grassley.
Steve Bannon, the media, and members of Congress are trying to convince us that Mike Johnson is a traitor and doesn’t deserve to be in the Speaker position. President Trump has been supportive of him in the past although he’s been quiet in his support lately. I think something is brewing, and I’m trying to think critically. My hope is that the drama surrounding the speaker vote, the threat of not certifying the election on January 6th, the concern of President Trump’s inauguration not occurring on January 20th are all to stir chaos to distract us from the clue President Trump gave us when he said that he and Mike Johnson have a secret.
A Contingent Election – The Trump-Johnson Secret
I wrote two papers (and a witty poem, if I do say so myself) about The Trump-Johnson Secret. This idea continues to blossom in my brain so I started digging a little deeper. As usual, it grew into more than I bargained for. I love when that happens.
In December, the states certified their electors. Barring all the chaos I just led you through, the electoral college vote should take place on January 6, 2025. Congress has the constitutional right to reject the state’s electors if they feel they have cause to do so. Would a rigged election provide the cause to reject the state’s electors? Were any significant changes made between the 2020 election and the 2024 election? Were any substantial changes made to the way we voted? We still had mail-in voting, voting machines, and states that don’t require identification. We had no more election integrity in 2024 than we had in 2020.
What did President Trump say before, during, and after the 2020 election? It was rigged. We were told Joe Biden won the 2020 election and we didn’t believe it. Now we’re told that President Trump won the 2024 election and we believe it? Why? If Congress certifies the election on January 6th, what would prevent every Democrat, TDS sufferer you know from telling you that Trump is President because he rigged it in his favor? Is President Trump comfortable with that opinion or does he want to prove to everyone that he won the election fairly…by a lot?
Congress does not have to certify the states’ votes. They have the constitutional right to reject them and arrange for a contingent election. If that happens, the risk of saying Trump won the election based on a rigged system is removed. It also gives Trump the clear path to be declared President outside of the system that he’s complained of being rigged since before the 2016 election.
Exposing a Rigged Election
In order to conduct a contested election, an objection to a state’s electoral votes is made in writing during the vote in Congress. It must be signed by 20 Senators and 87 members of the House (one-fifth of both houses). There are only two grounds for an objection. The first is that the electors were not lawfully certified under a Certificate of Ascertainment. A Certificate of Ascertainment is an official document that names the electors chosen by each state. It is prepared by the Governors and submitted to Congress. I could spend the time to go through every state and make sure that the electors were certified according to the laws in their state but I don’t think that’s necessary. If any Governors falsely certified their Certificates of Ascertainment, I am confident that the Patriots are very much aware of it. Since we should be entering the justice phase, I’m also confident we will see justice served to any Governors who acted outside of the will of the people.
The second cause for an objection is what interests me the most. The second cause is that the vote of the electors has not been regularly given. My first read of this didn’t make sense so I asked ChatGPT to explain. The answer was that an elector’s vote was not cast in the normal, expected way. A “regular vote” means the elector followed legal procedures. But here’s the good part…if it’s not a “regular vote” it could mean the vote was invalid for some reason – like if the elector didn't follow the correct procedure, or the vote was cast in a way that wasn't allowed under the law.
So many things come to mind with the thought of an elector’s vote being cast in a way that wasn’t allowed under the law. If a state submitted fake ballots or ballots that were switched by voting machines, and the state electors certified these illegally obtained votes, would that qualify for an objection based on votes that were not regularly given? Do you believe the Patriots are aware of every legal vote that was cast? President Trump told everyone on at least three occasions that the sanctity of the elections was being closely monitored. He warned them to CEASE and DESIST on September 7, September 8, and again on October 25.
He clearly says that those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels never seen before in our Country.
If there are objections during the Electoral College Vote, both the Senate and the House of Representatives debate the objection separately. The total time for debate is two hours. After the debate, both the Senate and the House of Representatives rejoin and both must agree to reject the votes – 20 Senators and 87 members of Congress. Provided Speaker Johnson is elected on January 3rd, as of January 6th, the Senate will contain 53 Republican Senators and 220 Republican members of Congress. Imagine the fireworks if every state’s slate of electors is objected to by the Republican majority in an election that the Republicans won.
The Governors who certified their states’ Certificate of Ascertainment best be confident that no fraud took place in their election. The Supreme Court unanimously ruled that states can require their members to certify the election for the popular-vote winner in their state. The justices also unanimously ruled that electors who don’t vote the way the citizens of their state voted can be removed or punished.
Below are images of 2024 vote totals for Illinois, California, and New York:
These are just a sample of the states that were certified for Harris. I lived in Illinois my entire life, until recently. Illinois was a great state, until the Democrats mastered their cheat over the last 30 years and turned Illinois into a blue state. I never believed it was, and still don’t. What if Governor Pritzker certified the election for someone other than the winner of the popular vote? What if Illinois voted overwhelmingly for President Trump? How would we know that happened unless there were an audit of Illinois? The Governor, Secretary of State, State’s Attorney and anyone else involved in election fraud could be prosecuted. As they should be.
Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)
Trump Derangement Syndrome was designed to blind the ignorant. It worked perfectly. Ignorant, uninformed, low information voters as Rush called them, became so outraged, convinced that President Trump is an uneducated fool and it prevented them from thinking critically and recognizing that his goal was always to distract them. Did the Governors convince themselves that they were so much smarter than President Trump, that their arrogance overrode their lack of intelligence and they walked into a trap?
Would an audit of every state in the 2024 election lead to an audit of the 2020 election? What about every election for the last 20 or more years? How can the people be shown that their voice never mattered? How are our elections protected in the future? How do we encourage the people to vote in future elections?
If we have the pleasure of watching audits take place, be sure to go back and read every article and watch every video of smug, arrogant journalists repeatedly telling you about President Trump’s baseless claims of election fraud.
There Is No “Little Secret” Speaker Power over the Electoral Count, according to this enlightened blogger. He informs us that, “it’s worth putting to rest the idea that the Speaker has any procedural tools to change the outcome of the presidential election.” He continues by telling us that the Speaker of the House has no real power over certifying an election, until he admits that actually sometimes, they do. His TDS blinds him to understanding what it means when he says, “The only scenario in which the Speaker retakes the gavel is if an objection to a state’s electoral votes is made by at least one-fifth of each chamber.”
Smug, arrogant journalists could never comprehend President Trump choosing to forego a rigged election and instead showing the people that he won the Presidency fairly and lawfully. They can’t imagine a scenario where the Republicans would object to their own election win. Just because the Democrats cheat at all costs doesn’t mean everyone does.
Democracy Dies in Darkness – IP Addresses May Light it Up
In October 2020 the Congressional Research Service updated the Contingent Election of the President and Vice President by Congress Report. In addition to confirming most of what is covered here, there are a few points that I would like to mention. Since the document was released in October 2020 it provides further confirmation that what we are about to be exposed to has been planned for a long time.
Page 10 – “Although faithless electors could cause an electoral college deadlock, this would be very unlikely, except in the event of a very close election in the electoral college or some event causing a mass defection.” (Would the refusal by members of Congress in certifying a rigged election be considered a mass defection?)
Page 11 – “The Speaker of the House of Representatives was designated as presiding officer for the contingent election.” (The Trump-Johnson Secret).
Page 14 – “In both 1801 and 1825, the House conducted contingent elections of the President behind closed doors. In the modern context, however, there would be strong, perhaps irresistible, pressure for a contingent election session to be open to the public and covered by radio, television, and webcast.”
Page 14 – “Advocates might suggest that the amendment’s language is not prescriptive, that the phrase “by ballot” could just as easily be interpreted as meaning by paper ballot, but not necessarily a secret ballot. They could argue the position that a decision of such great constitutional consequence should be made in the bright light of public awareness, and that both individual Representatives and state House delegations should be fully accountable for their votes.”
Page 17 – “While the 12th Amendment requires a vote “by ballot” in contingent election of the President, it does not prohibit Representatives from announcing how—and why—they cast their votes. Such a colloquy might emerge as one of the most dramatic and portentous deliberations in either chamber in the long history of congressional debate. In the modern context, it would certainly be the subject of unprecedented publicity, examination, and commentary in the press and broadcast and Internet media.”
“Open to the public and covered by radio, television, and webcast,” and “a decision of such great constitutional consequence should be made in the bright light of public awareness,” and “it would certainly be the subject of unprecedented publicity, examination, and commentary in the press and broadcast and Internet media? In IP Addresses? What IP Addresses? I discuss the 310+ million (now 315+ million) IP addresses that are assigned to the Department of Defense. In that paper I say,
“My instinct tells me that we’re about to see an interruption of our devices as we become an educated generation of thankful and patriotic Americans. I’m ready for it, excited about it, and pray it happens.”
Could a by-ballot contingent election of the President be the moment those IP addresses come into play?
The Q Angle
This came to me while writing this paper and I thought it was worth mentioning:
The 10 days of darkness (Q Drop 88)
When asked about the 10 days of darkness, Q answered “shutdown.” (Q Drop 282)
The [scare necessary event] (Q Drop 521) with a January 13 delta.
Could the 10 days of darkness be referring to the period between January 3 and January 13? Is the delay of the election certification the scare necessary event? Is Hakeem Jeffries winning the Speaker election the scare necessary event? Is it possible that the election for the Speaker will be delayed on January 3rd, we will enter 10 days of darkness while Congress is “shutdown,” and it ends on January 13th? Compelling, isn’t it? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
The End is Only the Beginning
Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts. The future is not known to any of us and only time will tell. The years ahead should return our country to greatness, honesty, and the rule of law. Corrupt politicians should be more transparent going forward. We can never again allow this level of corruption in our government.
I thought the 2020 election loss was devastating. I see now that it wasn’t. Those four years were a period of precedent setting, and irrefutable evidence gathering. It will be worth every minute of the stress and anxiety I felt in those moments when I forgot to Trust the Plan.
Sometimes the only way out is through.
Awesome article. Mind bending and informative. Appreciate you sharing this enormous amount of work.
Excellent analysis Dawn. Especially your possibilities on Grassley, the IP addresses and the ten days of darkness.
Great work my friend.
