What does President Trump mean when he refers to early 2020 as his last week in office?

The topic of this paper was originally the Navy base at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba (Gitmo), but I decided to set that aside for now since my mind decided to go in a different direction. Gitmo is relevant to this story, it’s just not the main focus.

Gitmo was supposed to be closed years ago. Barack Obama wanted his legacy to include its closure, but Congress had other plans. President Trump must have a different legacy in mind when it comes to Gitmo. Not only has President Trump kept it open, but it was also expanded during his presidency.

This paper connects with Where’s Waldo which is based on the premise that many prominent figures in both Hollywood and DC have either gone missing or are very quiet since 2020.

Early 2020 was a hectic time in the world with the onslaught of Covid, and on March 11, 2020, the CDC officially declared it a pandemic. At a news conference on March 18, 2020, President Trump declared himself a wartime president and appeared confident that the virus had originated in a Chinese lab. It was clear that he felt that this was an attack on our country from a foreign adversary, and he believed the release of the virus was an act of war.

If you’ve listened to President Trump’s speaking style, you’ll notice that he displays two prominent traits. He is either distracting you or going off script. We often see him steer away from the speech on his teleprompter and offer quips or information to his audience. It is at these times that it is important to listen closely to what he is saying. At times he is just hilarious, and at other times, he is delivering a message that he is trusting the audience to pick up on. He expects us to read between the lines. Sometimes he sounds absentminded when in fact, he is dropping hints in his speech. Rather than those people who are blinded by their hatred of Donald Trump and can’t see the forest through the trees, we look for the signals he sends to gain a better understanding of his point.  

As I was gathering dates for my Gitmo research, I noticed a trend around March and April of 2020, when Covid was at its height. They seemed related to Covid at the time, but looking back, I wonder if something else was going on. Were certain effects of the pandemic used as a distraction in this Information War? Before I explain further, we need to cover some of the events surrounding Trump’s presidency and the events leading up to the spring of 2020. (This will be a quick overview so please research it further if you are not already aware of these events.)

A lot happened between 2015 through 2020 and it started during Trump’s campaign, before he even became President. Most people are (hopefully) familiar with the Russiagate scandal and the false narrative that Trump and his team colluded with Russia to influence the results of the 2016 election. An investigation took place and in April of 2019 Special Counsel Robert Mueller released his report. The Report can be found in full in The Federalist. After years of the media and members of our government trying to convince us that the Trump team colluded with the Russians, Attorney General William Barr told us, “There was no evidence of Trump campaign ‘collusion’ with the Russian government’s hacking.” The media didn’t cover the exoneration nearly as much as they covered the allegation. Many people were involved in fabricating this false story and manipulating the American public. Were the people behind the Russiagate scandal guilty of a crime?

Early into Trump’s presidency, California Congressman Devin Nunes announced that he had received information about unauthorized spying and unmasking of members of Trump’s Team. In April 2019, The New York Post published an article titled “Behind the Obama Administration’s Shady Plan to Spy on the Trump Campaign.” A former President was accused of spying on a current President. Many good people had their lives ruined because of this scandal. Were Obama and the people involved in the spying and unmasking guilty of a crime?

On February 2, 2020, President Trump was acquitted after an impeachment trial in which he was accused of offering a quid pro quo deal to President Zelensky of Ukraine. We heard the term ‘quid pro quo’ so often during this period that we all understood the definition, if we didn’t before. They televised President Trump’s impeachment trial so we would all recognize what a “threat to our democracy” he was. However, not many in the media or our government found it important to inform us of Joe Biden’s quid pro quo with Ukraine.

Joe Biden was first elected to the Senate in 1972, as the youngest senator in history. He has been serving in the United States government for 52 years. In that time American lives have not gotten better, but the Biden family’s definitely has. There is no shortage of stories surrounding crimes committed by the Biden family. Joe Biden, his brother Jim, and their entire family got rich off the American people. In January 2018, the following video surfaced of Joe Biden in which he spoke of withholding a US loan guarantee to Ukraine unless the prosecutor investigating his son, Hunter Biden, was fired.

Is this quid pro quo? Did Joe Biden commit a crime here?

By early 2020, there was plenty of evidence that Joe Biden and his family were involved in illegal activity. There was also plenty of evidence of the other scandals we were subjected to during President Trump’s first term.

This just barely touches on the crimes that were allegedly committed during the early years of Trump’s presidency. These aren’t minor crimes like shoplifting; they seem more like Treason. We have lived through a two-tiered justice system for decades. We watched politicians get away with so many crimes and The Rule of Law was repeatedly ignored. But that was before Donald Trump became President.

So many treasonous crimes were committed by so many people in our government. Surely their crimes warranted their detention and interrogation at the least. Allowing them to remain free to continue to wreak havoc on our country doesn’t sit well with any of us.

During Devolution Power Hour #274, Jon Herold, Patrick Gunnels, and Chris Paul discussed a New York Times article that was fact-checking a speech by President Trump in which he said that a chart of illegal immigration statistics saved his life during the assassination attempt. Below is the chart President Trump was referring to (I added the yellow circle):

It was this chart that was on the screen when President Trump moved his head slightly to look at it when the shot was fired. In that speech, Trump points to a red arrow on the screen which shows immigration numbers for March/April 2020 and Trump says something to the effect that this was his last week in office.

FactCheck.org posted a similar article in which Trump mentioned the chart at a Green Bay, WI rally in early April 2024.

The red arrow at the bottom purports to correspond to the point that “Trump leaves office” and to be the “lowest illegal immigration in recorded history!” But the arrow actually points to April 2020, when there were 16,182 apprehensions at the southwest border.

It’s unclear how many times Trump has used this chart, but in his X (formerly Twitter) interview with Elon Musk on August 12, 2024, President Trump again mentioned the chart. More than once. He said he only uses it about 20% of the time and it’s usually at the end of his rallies. But the chart clearly shows that Trump left office in March or April 2020. He even says again that this was his last week in office in his discussion with Elon.

It’s hard to believe that there would be an error of this magnitude on that chart, or that President Trump doesn’t know exactly what he’s saying here. He has directed our attention to this chart on more than one occasion. Why?

Around the 2:32 mark of the DPH recording, Jon, Patrick, and Chris discuss Trump’s habit of saying incorrect or misleading statements in order to get the media to focus on a particular topic. He has done that since the beginning. He misspells a word in a Tweet and the media jumps on it and brings focus to the Tweet. After all of these years, they still haven’t learned.

Chris Paul chimed in and said “Maybe the whole devolution thing started earlier than we thought,” and alarms went off in my head.

Our own government has similar back-up plans, though they are far more complex. The umbrella term for these back-up plans is “continuity of government (COG).” If an emergency occurs that disrupts the normal operations of our government, these COG plans are ready to make sure the essential functions of our government continue to be carried out.

For example: An enemy government nukes Washington D.C. What would our country do? Without a back-up plan, things would quickly turn to chaos.

The Devolution Series is based on the idea that Donald Trump implemented some form of COG plan in the face of a different kind of emergency - a stolen election.

Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution requires the President to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” As Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces, the President is charged with the responsibility of protecting and defending the United States.

There are different opinions of when Trump may have initiated Devolution, if he did. (Although we are confident that he did, there is not irrefutable proof of it, and there may never be.) Not to put words in Chris Paul’s mouth, but I believe he was hinting at the possibility that Trump initiated Devolution prior to the stolen election; possibly when our country was attacked with the pandemic. Trump told us, "This is worse than Pearl Harbor, this is worse than the World Trade Center. There's never been an attack like this.” Chris’s comment was the exact theory I was tossing around while researching Gitmo. There are too many dates that lean in that direction to dismiss that theory.

In J6: A Different Perspective, I theorize that Devolution was initiated on January 6, 2021 and several members of our current government were detained on that day. After hearing Trump referencing this immigration chart more than once and reporting it as his last week in office, I wonder if he isn’t telling us that that was the start of Devolution – April/May of 2020. Devolution may have started in the spring of 2020, but I stand by my belief that lower-level members of our government were detained on January 6, 2021.  

There were many people who committed very serious crimes against our country who are no longer part of our government. Ex-presidents and their Cabinets, vice presidents, upper management of the CIA, FBI, and others. They were involved in countless crimes against our country. Not only them, but most likely members of their Cabinet, their staff, family members…a lot of people.

How could all of these people be collected and detained outside of the public’s awareness since a mass arrest event would undoubtedly cause chaos and fear in our country. It would be incredibly difficult to get all of these people out of the public eye and detain them. Where would you take high-ranking members of the government who were accused of treasonous crimes?

Gitmo, of course.

How would you get them there?

The US Navy?

A Navy ship docked in New York in the spring of 2020 under the guise of treating patients from hospitals overwhelmed by Covid?

The US Navy Ship Comfort was docked in New York from March 30 to April 30. It was odd, since the Covid story wasn’t as dramatic as the media was portraying. A video was posted to Twitter of a man walking the streets of New York during the pandemic. He documented ambulance drivers standing outside of hospitals smoking, an ambulance on jacks with a flat tire. It was clear that the hospitals didn’t appear as overrun as we were led to believe. He walked to the Javits Center where the military was setting up an emergency hospital to deal with the overflow from local hospitals. No one was there. There weren’t ambulances surrounding the place; there weren’t soldiers walking around outside; no one was standing in line to get in. Like Hollywood and DC, the Javits Center was a ghost town. It was weird since the virus was killing so many people. The TV told us it was. When the news broke that Navy ships would be brought to New York and California, something felt off. Like everything else, we dismissed it because it was Covid, it was scary, and we were told this was necessary, regardless of how excessive it seemed.

Four years later we can look back at the information concerning the USNS Comfort and it’s time in New York in 2020. The Comfort was docked in New York for around three weeks and treated 182 patients. (They brought a US Navy ship to treat 182 patients?) The ship was originally sent to New York to accept overflow patients, since the hospitals were expected to be overrun with Covid patients. However, its mission was changed to start accepting Covid patients after some doctors complained. According to USNI News, “Medical staff, including doctors, nurses and technicians directly working with patients, were moved off Comfort to a local hotel.” What? Don’t Navy personnel live on ships for months at a time? Yet during a worldwide pandemic, they left the ship where they may have had contact with Covid-infected patients and stayed at hotels?

The article also states, “Several personnel aboard Comfort had tested positive for the virus and were isolated aboard the ship.” What did that look like? Was part of the ship off limits to others? Could it be that part of the ship was used for something other than patients? Could it have been used to house some Washington DC residents for a voyage to Cuba? Speculation, sure, but not too far off, is it?

To thicken the plot, in Where’s Waldo I mention that, like Washington DC, Hollywood looks different than it did before 2020. Hollywood is a sewer filled with Marxists, Communists, pedophiles, and all dregs of society set on propagandizing and controlling the American people. The California stay-at-home order began on March 19, 2020. A US Navy ship similar to the Comfort was docked in California March 27 through April 30. According to USNI News, the USNS Mercy saw 77 patients. Just like the ship in New York, the Mercy’s Medical Treatment Facility personnel stayed at local hotels.

Was the USNS Comfort in New York to transport members of the swamp?

Was the USNS Mercy in Los Angeles to transport Hollywood’s “elite?”
