Daily life in America has become like mindless scrolling, but without the social media. Our attention span bounces from one story to the next like a pinball in constant motion. Focusing on any specific topic in the world of government and politics is pointless. Many of us have been entrenched in this war for so long that we can (almost) find humor in the constantly changing narrative. Lately every time I hear of a story that I want to dig deeper into, another story pops up and redirects my attention. There must be a reason behind the constant disruption and upheaval of our attention. Although we’ve been redirected countless times over the years, it feels nonstop lately, as if we’re not supposed to get too caught up in any one particular topic.
Thinking back over events of the last week remind us of how chaotic life has become. For those who have been paying attention, we’re accustomed to it. Are others starting to wake up to the chaotic whiplash and question what is happening and why? They may blame President Trump for their unsettled feeling, and they’d be right to do so. What should follow will be the realization that the constant chaos serves a purpose.
Since we’re moving from one story to another in rapid succession, it may be useful to touch on some of them to remind us what we’ve experienced. It’s shocking how much has happened in just a week, and these are just the tip of the iceberg.
Although it’s been more than a week, a good place to start seems to be with Senator Alex Padilla. After all, he stretched his five minutes of fame for so long it lasted several days. When he rudely interrupted Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem at a press conference, Padilla was escorted from the room by law enforcement personnel. Padilla’s description of the way he was treated doesn’t reflect the reality of the situation and definitely doesn’t reflect the way any of us would have been treated had we behaved the same. Padilla took the opportunity to post to social media, appear on the Trump-hating media, and whine on Capitol Hill of how unjustly he was treated. Instead of waiting his turn to ask a question the way an intelligent, concerned U.S. Senator should, he behaved the way most democrats do. Loud and obnoxious, he shouted over Secretary Noem, ignoring requests by law enforcement while he demanded attention like a toddler not getting his way. Despite repeatedly being told to back away, he created a scene, which provided him the victim status that democrats thrive on. The sympathetic media provided Padilla with the attention he was seeking. Later in the week, Vice President J.D. Vance mistakenly (probably not) referred to Alex Padilla as Jose Padilla. Despite the pearl clutching by the media, Padilla was given another opportunity to breathe life into a story that should have ended ten minutes after it began.
The reason for Padilla’s outburst concerned the federalization of the National Guard in California. The Guard had been activated to assist federal agents who were doing their job among mostly peaceful protestors who didn’t look peaceful at all. Images of a man standing on a car, waving the Mexican flag while fire blazes around him don’t provide a comforting atmosphere of tranquility. It looked more like an insurrection with Mexico seizing control over California.
California Governor Gavin Newsom continues to behave like an unhinged teenage girl whose crush isn’t paying attention to her. His nonstop posting to X about how his state is being unnecessarily bullied by President Trump has become a never-ending, entertaining social media temper tantrum. Gavin Newsom and the other illegitimately elected idiots in California have destroyed their once-beautiful state. Like most democrat governors, he’s more focused on catering to those who don’t contribute to American greatness than those of us who do. He seems to continue to create chaos in his state by blaming President Trump for everything, while he’s not governing anything.
Continuing with his tantrum, Newsom stomped over to the Court and filed an emergency motion to block President Trump from deploying the National Guard, claiming he was “turning the military against American citizens.” He got some good mileage out of that in the media for a few days until the Court of Appeals determined that President Trump followed the law. The National Guard was assisting federal law enforcement in removing people who broke our laws when they entered our country illegally. That is not turning the military against American citizens. Of course, if some moronic American citizen wants to prevent our police or military from doing their duty, they should be grateful if the only thing they feel is the sting of a rubber bullet.
On Saturday morning, news broke of a manhunt in Minnesota after an attack on members of their state government. A state representative and her husband were killed, and a state senator and his wife were shot and wounded. The murdered state representative recently sided with Republicans and voted against allowing illegal immigrants access to a low-income healthcare program. It’s unclear if that story had any bearing on the attacks, but the timing was strange. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz unsuccessfully ran for Vice President in the 2024 election, which added to the drama surrounding the attacks.
Photos were released of the man accused of the attack. He was wearing a “hyper realistic” silicone mask, driving what resembled a squad car, and was dressed as a police officer. He attacked the state lawmakers in the early morning hours and ended up in a shootout with police where he was able to escape. The strangeness of the story continued as the manhunt progressed. It was reported that the alleged shooter and his wife had both worked for Governor Tim Walz at one point or another. Regardless, every democrat on social media started posting their go-to response that the guy was a Trump supporter.
As with every high-publicity crime these days, police found a manifesto in the shooter’s car. The purpose of a manifesto is to explain what you stand for and what you hope to accomplish. Its goal is to get people to support your ideas and inspire action. Apparently Ted Kaczynski’s Unabomber Manifesto started a trend since anyone who commits a crime that gains media attention becomes a manifesto author. Rather than just committing their crime, they detail what they’re going to do, who they’re going to do it to, and why they’re doing it. The Minnesota Manifesto reportedly contained a list of other targeted government officials. The shooter was eventually apprehended and near the end of the week, stories began circulating that his confession to the FBI says that Governor Walz tasked him with assassinating Senator Amy Klobuchar. Maybe there’s a connection to Walz, or maybe the shooter is just mentally unstable. Already, the stories have moved forward and it’s unclear if we’ll learn more about it or if it will disappear with the upcoming chaos.
The Military Parade to celebrate the Army’s 250th birthday came and went with much less fanfare and drama than I expected. It’s hard to believe that parade was just a week ago. The Marxists must’ve realized that it wouldn’t be smart to protest a military parade in Washington DC since we didn’t hear of protests there. Any patriotic American should have been filled with pride and respect in honoring our military. Only brainwashed, TDS afflicted Marxists take offense at such a parade.
Not willing to allow American loving patriots to have a day celebrating our Army, the clueless among us spent the day attending ‘No Kings’ protests. Luckily, there weren’t any reports of widespread violence from the liberal temper tantrum. Hopefully, the IRS and FBI investigations into who was funding the anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles will expand into who funded the No Kings protests nationwide. The concept of No Kings is really kind of silly, especially when Governor J.B. Pritzker posts about it. Pritzker saying “we don’t have kings in America” is ironic coming from the guy who played King of Illinois during Covid.
According to the media, the No Kings protest was the biggest-ever single day protest in U.S. history. The media is corrupt and full of liars so it’s impossible to know if that’s true, but it sounds like an exaggeration. It was the biggest single day protest in U.S. history? So, it was the biggest-ever single day protest in the last 250 years? Despite their silly little protest, ICE deportations are continuing as planned, which is a good thing.
Huma Abedin and Alex Soros got married. We were told to “Follow Huma,” but I’m unsure if anyone did that. Vogue magazine posted pictures of their wedding. Whether the wedding really happened or if they’re legitimate photos, I can’t say. I wasn’t there.
We were told that Israel attacked Iran last week. Did it? How do we know for certain? Is Israel good or bad? Am I supposed to hate Israel or Iran? Or both? It’s hard enough to know the truth of what is happening in America let alone trying to figure out what’s happening in the Middle East.
In the most ambiguous manner, President Trump responded that the U.S. may – or may not – get involved in the Israel/Iran conflict. He told the media that he would decide within the next two weeks if he would order a military strike in Iran. Keeping with the chaos of the week, in an address to the nation two days later, he announced that he had authorized the destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities. The illegitimately elected democrats, and some RINOs, began hyperventilating that the attacks were conducted without Congressional authorization. They’re so dishonest. Reagan, Clinton, both Bushes, and Obama did the same thing when they were president. The media and dishonest politicians rely on our ignorance in these situations. Fortunately, their audience continues to diminish as we continue to educate ourselves.
News broke, once again, that the Chinese Communist Party was involved in our elections. This isn’t news until something is actually done about it. Apparently the more often a story is repeated, the more likely it is to wake people up. Dropping little nuggets of news we already know about doesn’t do anything to create change for the future, but it does create chaos for a good portion of the population.
In the midst of the chaos of the last week, President Trump had two “gigantic” flag poles installed at the White House. They’re big and beautiful and it’s great that they adorn the White House lawn. The only reason this should have been news is the fact that our country will turn 250 years old next year and this wasn’t done before.
The courts seem to be shifting away from their previous Pro-Marxists rulings. The Supreme Court upheld a law barring gender transition surgery, puberty blockers and hormone therapy for children. It’s hard to believe that this had to go to court, but such is the chaos the Marxists created for us.
Democrat representative Jerry Nadler is being paraded in front of television cameras to rile up the masses while making an ass of himself. Nadler spoke in front of reporters when he was denied access to an ICE facility. The man has literally turned into a tiny troll in front of us. He was barely visible over the microphones.
As he stands at the podium, he asks why ICE agents were wearing masks. He felt it was improper and says the agents must be hiding misbehavior because otherwise why would they be hiding their identities? The hypocrisy of this after his pushing mask mandates just a few short years ago isn’t lost on anyone. It’s honestly difficult to know if Jerry Nadler is being forced by White Hats to say stupid things or if that’s just who he is.
With each passing day, the Q posts are coming to life and President Trump and Elon are calling attention to them. Elon posted a Pepe meme this week, and President Trump reposted direct text from the posts. We continue to smirk and become more excited with each passing delta.
These are just the stories we can skim off the top, the stories the narrative consumers hear. There is so much going on in the background that only those with the desire to learn will research and seek out the story. Are we being distracted so we’re not given the opportunity to focus on any one particular event? As soon as we contemplate whether a story deserves further examination, another story is put before us. It’s difficult to focus on any one topic. What is the purpose of keeping us teetering on the edge of every story?
As long as the chaos continues, The Plan is still progressing. What will we do with ourselves once the chaos ends, and the real stories begin? I’m not sure but I think it will involve lots of popcorn, high-fives, tears, and elation. This will be followed by light hearts, genuine joy, good work-life balance, and lush bank accounts. If that’s true, then the chaos is worth it, isn’t it?
In the midst of chaos, there is also opportunity. ~Sun Tzu, The Art of War
What if the story starts to support that congress WANTS boots on the ground and they decide they WILL take it to the floor? I don’t think that will happen, but it would be an eye opener.
Fun article. I just read it and was tickled to find that you also used a the playground crush analogy! I just told Rep Thomas Massie that it seems like the President has a school yard crush on him! ❤️ And he seemed to agree.
