Democrat Atrocities
The greater the crime perpetrated by the leadership, the less likely it is that the people will ever believe their leaders to be capable of perpetrating such an event. ~Adolf Hitler
As early as 2015, when candidate Donald Trump floated the idea of a Muslim ban, Democrats began comparing him to Hitler. To the uneducated, some of President Trump’s actions may seem Hitler-esque. But if you look at the path America was headed down, it’s easier to spot the similarities between Democrats and Nazis. Democrats will deny that, ignoring the fact that that in itself is Nazi behavior. After all, many Germans denied being aware of the crimes committed by their party too.
While some Democrats feel their party has gone too far left, many consider themselves to be the superior party. Just like the Nazis did. Democrats consider themselves as the party of the downtrodden, the victimized, the minority. At least until they learn that maybe that downtrodden, victimized, minority is actually a Trump supporter. Then they’ll beat him and throw rocks at him.
The Nazi Party first began its rise to power in 1930. After a series of successful election victories, Adolf Hitler was appointed chancellor. Within weeks of assuming power, the first organized attacks began on Jews in Germany. After an arsonist set fire to the German parliament building, badly damaging it, Nazi leaders used the opportunity to restrict the rights and liberties of the people of Germany. The Nazis recognized what Democrats would later admit:
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.”
― Rahm Emanuel, Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff
Within months of taking control, Hitler dismantled the free press and brought the media under government control. The Propaganda Ministry was created to control public messaging by schools, universities, film, and radio. Through the Ministry, the national education of the German people was placed fully in the hands of the Nazis.
Democracy soon failed and Germany became a one-party police state. A new law gave Hitler the power to pass legislation without approval from parliament, paving the way for his dictatorship. Professional organizations, trade unions, and civil society were placed under state control, silencing dissent. Membership in the Hitler Youth Organization became mandatory, allowing for the indoctrination of German children. The extreme radicalization escalated. Hitler was intent on dominating Europe and in 1939, Germany’s invasion of Poland triggered World War II.
It wasn’t until Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1942, that the United States entered World War II. The American press started reporting that the Nazis planned to murder all Jews in Europe, and the U.S. State Department confirmed that it was true.
On September 11, 1944, the first U.S. troops advanced into Germany.
Upon discovering the concentration camps, Allied soldiers were horrified. They found it difficult to grasp the inhumanity carried out by the Nazi regime. They recognized that although Hitler had authority as the leader of the Nazi party, he didn’t rise to power or commit those atrocities on his own. In addition to the support of German officials, millions of everyday citizens had also supported and voted for the Nazis. They believed Hitler was a savior to Germany. The Allied governments were determined to make sure every one of them was aware of the crimes their government committed.
It’s our support of President Trump that many Democrats use to compare us to Nazis. Like President Trump, Hitler held massive rallies. Democrats point to President Trump’s rallies as evidence of his fascist behavior. His rally at Madison Square Garden was “particularly chilling” to the media since they compared it to the 1939 pro America rally attended by supporters of a “different fascist leader, Adolf Hitler.”
To add to the fascist image, President Trump’s former Chief of Staff, John Kelly, reportedly compared President Trump to Hitler. There is a truly delusional interview with a journalist from The Atlantic that includes a level of outrageous fiction that is quite entertaining due largely to its stupidity. The media will go to any length to portray President Trump as a fascist dictator, and many of the Trump Deranged believe it. Was that intentional? What happens if the Democrats are confronted with the truth that it was their party, not Trump’s, that aligned more closely with the Nazis?
The Nazi regime envisioned a New Order, a reorganized world driven by racist ideology, expansion, and control over other nations. Was that idea ever really defeated, or have we been living through a slow and steady march toward that vision?
While there are many examples of Democrats actively working toward a world similar to the one envisioned by the Nazis, some of their atrocities were a bit more subtle. Unlike the Nazis who advanced their agenda quickly, violently suppressing any dissent, the Democrats slowly turned up the heat, allowing their evil agenda to gradually unfold, while telling us it was for our own good.
The loss of our constitutional rights under the Patriot Act is one such example. Just as the parliament building fire caused the loss of civil liberties to the people of Germany, the 9/11 attacks led to the loss of some of our civil liberties. What slid under the radar is the fact that, although 9/11 happened during a Republican presidency, the increase in terrorism that led to the Patriot Act began during Democrat Bill Clinton’s presidency.
The Patriot Act was passed in 2001, but it didn’t materialize out of thin air. In February 1995, Senator Joe Biden introduced the Omnibus Counterterrorism Act. The bill was meant to give federal courts jurisdiction over international terrorism cases. Civil liberties groups opposed the bill, saying it violated American’s constitutional rights and allowed for the expansion of government surveillance. The bill was debated but never put to a vote. Two months after the bill was introduced, a bomb exploded at the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City. One week after the Oklahoma City bombings, Joe Biden revised the bill and introduced it as the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act. That bill was signed into law in April, 1996.
In his statement on signing the Act, President Clinton said that while this bill was strong, it should have been stronger. He had asked Congress to give law enforcement increased wiretap authority in terrorism cases, and authority for the kind of emergency wiretaps that were available in organized crime cases. “But the Congress refused,” according to Clinton.
Clinton’s hope for a stronger bill was achieved when, just weeks after the attacks on September 11, 2001, President Bush signed the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act was stronger than the previous 1996 Act and, coincidentally, contained the recommendations that Congress had previously refused to approve. Over the years, Joe Biden has proudly taken credit for the Patriot Act, claiming it was the same bill that he wrote prior to the Oklahoma City bombings.
Never let a serious crisis go to waste.
Just as the Nazis stripped the Germans of their civil liberties after a crisis, the Democrats stripped us of ours. Was it done for our own good, or was it a power grab? More importantly, did the Democrats orchestrate any of these crises to justify consolidating power and taking control?
They didn’t stop with the Patriot Act. The Ministry of Propaganda was established by the Nazis when they came to power. This allowed them to gain control over the media and coordinate public messaging, just as the Democrats have done with American media.
During World War II, President Roosevelt established the Office of War Information (OWI). The OWI was a division of the government responsible for all wartime propaganda. In times of war, the manipulation of thought and emotion is considered essential to increase morale, commitment, and unity. The OWI was run by a former journalist who oversaw all of the radio, film, and news reporting in an attempt to bolster public perception of the war. Over time, concerns grew that the OWI was being run as a propaganda arm of the government, similar to the propaganda system run by the Nazis in Germany.
Congress ended funding for the OWI and, in 1948, The Smith-Mundt Act was passed. The Smith-Mundt Act authorized the U.S. government to produce and distribute media to foreign nations to help promote American policies and values. It also restricted the government from distributing media within the United States in order to prevent government propaganda. Other than some minor revisions to the Act, it stayed largely in effect for over 60 years.
Until Democrat President Barack Obama changed the law.
The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 relaxes previous restrictions and allowed for the distribution of propaganda within the United States. For the first time in over 60 years, the federal government was given the power to secretly influence public opinion. In Mockingbird Media, I wrote about the manipulation of the American media, including “The 6 Companies That Own (Almost) All Media.” Thanks to the Democrats’ revision of the Smith-Mundt Act, the government can now legally run propaganda campaigns against Americans, just as the Nazis did in Germany.
Neither the Democrats nor the Nazis limited their propaganda to just the media. The Hitler Youth was designed to indoctrinate children with Nazi ideology, and beginning in 1939, all children aged 10 to 18 were required to join. The organization required children to attend regular meetings and events, demanding a significant amount of their time. This often interfered with activities like church and school, and the constant exposure to Nazi ideology gradually weakened the influence of their parents.
We’ve watched as our own children have been indoctrinated to Marxist ideologies in the American education system. We’ve seen endless stories of teachers pushing their political beliefs on students, and teachers staging political protests in public schools. The American history our children and grandchildren have learned is much different than the history that we learned. Stories of children being encouraged by their teachers to transition their gender are too numerous to stomach. How many people can say they raised their child as a patriotic conservative, only to have them return from college with a completely different – liberal – viewpoint? The American education curriculum is more focused on indoctrination than education.
The Department of Education was created by, you guessed it, a Democrat. President Jimmy Carter signed the Department of Education Organization Act in 1979 making education an executive branch agency of the federal government. And so began the indoctrination of American children.
Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.
We could go on and on making comparisons between the Democrat Party and the Nazi Party, but hopefully the point has been made. The question now is…will anything ever be done about it?
After the Nazis were defeated in Germany, the governments of the Soviet Union, Great Britain, France, and the United States agreed to conduct a jointly-run tribunal with judges and prosecutors from each of their countries. This became known as the Nuremberg Trials.
American leaders wanted to establish a precedent for international trials, and the Allied governments wanted to educate the Germans about the extent of the Nazi atrocities. They also wanted German citizens to accept responsibility for their government’s crimes.
Most Germans either denied supporting the Nazi Party or said that they couldn’t do anything about it when confronted with a list of Nazi crimes. This claim was unlikely since it ignored the fact that a majority of Germans had supported Hitler and voted in favor of him. Will Democrats be forced to accept responsibility for the crimes committed by their party? If so, will they quietly remove their “Abolish ICE” signs from their shop windows? Will they secretly remove the Biden/Harris stickers from their Prius?
If Democrats were faced with the truth, would they suffer the consequences as many Germans did during the Nuremberg trials? In addition to Nazi officials, judges, physicians, corporate leaders, and educators were prosecuted and charged with crimes against peace, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and conspiracy to commit these crimes. Members of the media were prosecuted and tried for their actions as propagandists. Inciting hatred and violence were considered a crime against humanity. We’ve seen our share of Democrat hatred and violence in recent years, have we not?
We’re taught from a young age that forgiveness is important. Forgive others as you have been forgiven. Donald Trump doesn’t foster the same belief. It’s well documented that Trump believes in revenge. “Always get even. When somebody screws you, screw them back in spades.”
It’s not just Trump that got screwed. It’s all of us.
In his 2023 CPAC speech, President Trump said, “I am your warrior. I Am Your Justice...I Am Your Retribution.”
Do we want justice? Do we want retribution? Could America benefit from a Nuremberg style trial where the people who stole our elections, staged an insurrection, falsely accused a president, and persecuted innocent people are prosecuted?
Slowly and steadily, things are getting better in America. Is this the way it will be? Will we gradually forgive and forget?
In his opening statement before the Tribunal at Nuremberg, Justice Robert Jackson of the United States Supreme Court said,
“The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant, and so devastating, that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored, because it cannot survive their being repeated.”
If the Democrats committed wrongs so calculated, so malignant, and so devastating, should American civilization ignore it, or do we risk our survival by allowing them to be repeated?
